The company was founded in 1912 by Arturo Fuente Sr, and located in Ybor City, Florida, which at that time was home to some 200 different factories.Ā Ā 

Primarily a brand local to Tampa, in the 1970s, Arturo Sr. and his son Carlos decided to move the company to Nicaragua in search of new markets.Ā 

The revolution there forced the company to relocate to the Dominican Republic, where it is still based today.Ā 

The Hemingway line, launched in the 1980s, proved popular due to its shape and blend. Today, it's as popular as ever thanks to its medium-bodied qualities, which appeal to fine cigar smokers worldwide.Ā 

The cigar has a silky Cameroon wrapper with spicy sweet characteristics, the binder and filler are bothĀ  from the Chateau de la Fuente farm in the Dominican Republic.Ā 

ProducedĀ  at the Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia factory in Santiago the Hemingway Signature measures 6" with a 46 ring gauge

Light up and notes of cedar and warm spice are evident along with molasses and a lovely creaminess, there's loads of smoke too.
