The Dominicano Puro “A gem raised from the ground” An exceptional range of Cigars by Davidoff made entirely from Dominican tobacco with distinct flavours. For the first time, Davidoff’s Master Blenders have used tobaccos from six different regions in the Dominican Republic: Martín Garcia, Villa González, Mao, Piloto, Navarrete, and Yamasá. Each area has its own microclimate, from the more humid valleys of Yamasá to the warmer, higher ground in Mao, which brings a wide mix of flavours ranging from sweet and creamy to deeper, spicier notes.

The Davidoff Puro Dominicano is made entirely from Dominican tobacco, with a combined age of around 32 years. It’s a fuller bodied blend, using high quality leaves that add depth and richness to the smoke. Because of the nature of these tobaccos, it takes real skill to get the balance right, resulting in an even burn, smooth draw, and a consistently high quality smoking experience. 

Before lighting, the Short Robusto gives off aromas of cedar, cocoa, and dried fruit, the wrapper has a smooth texture with a light sheen. The quality of the construction is typically Davidoff, flawless and beautiful to look at.

Due to its shorter length and wider ring gauge, the short robusto delivers flavour straight away. The first third is rich and smooth, with flavours of dark chocolate, brown sugar, fresh bread, nuts and cream. In the second third, the profile deepens, bringing in dried fruit, oak, and earthy notes, along with a slight savoury touch from salted nuts. The final third becomes creamier and more rounded, with leather and biscuit flavours standing out and leaving a long, satisfying finish.
