My Father La Opulencia Robusto Cigars - Box of 20

An old Cuban brand, the name has been revived by the Garcia family, and it's fair to say the cigar reflects the name. 

There's depth and richness thanks to its bold flavour profile. First up, a high priming, premium sun-grown Mexican Rosada Oscuro wrapper, full of spice and sweetness.  

To enhance the flavour of the cigar, a dual binder is the preferred choice, using leaf grown on their farms, it helps control the burn and improves combustion. These are typically Criollo 98 and Corojo 98. 

The filler comes from the Garcia Jalapa Valley farms, its high quality ensured by 3 -5 years of ageing. La Opulencia cigars are rolled at the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Box pressed, this 5.25" x 52 dark leaf robusto is comfortable to hold. 

Light up and find notes of chocolate and coffee with some oak. Medium to full bodied, the cigar meanders for 45- 60 minutes through profile changes of sweetness and spice, but throughout the balance and richness remain the same.
