Charatan Virginia Three Year Matured is a superb blend of aged Virginia, a little Oriental and the mildest touch of added fruit flavouring. Definitely not an aromatic in the traditional sense but more a beautiful presentation of tobacco, decorated to accentuate its natural fineness. The mature Red Virginia leaf attributes a rich, stewed fruit to the blend, which with a little breadiness and minor spice and sweetness, places the tobacco somewhere between sweet and savoury on the palate. The depth of colour and aroma from opening the tin lead you to dive in, eyes open and nose first.

Soft texture and perfectly moist strands that easily load into your pipe demonstrate the sovereignty of the leaf used in the blend.
