In the base, there is a convenient tamper that may be pulled out all the way or only halfway before locking in place. The gas refill point is located near the tamper, atthe base of thedevice.
If the flame suddenly grows larger, do not use the flame adjuster on the base. This is a sign that the gas is running low. Instead, refill the lighter by turning it upside down andpumping the gas into the refill point. Allow a few minutes for the pressurein the tank to equalise, and your lighter should function perfectly again.
Please note excessive turning of the flame adjuster on the base may cause it to become loose, theguarantee does not cover the loss of the adjuster wheel.
