Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1957 Pipe Tobacco - 50g Tin

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1957 Pipe Tobacco - 50g Tin

Aromatic (Vanilla) Black Cavendish, Burley, Virginia.

Quoted as a personal favourite of Erik Stokkebye, this medium-strength vanilla Black Cavendish, Burley, and Virginia tobacco is notably Danish in character, as opposed to American aromatics, which are more heavily flavoured. Complex and considerately blended there is enough to keep your taste buds busy without spoiling them. Simply put, this is not your run-of-the-mill vanilla Aromatic.

Take a pinch of the superbly textured ribbon to appreciate its quality. Notice that there is a lesser amount of Black Cavendish than many of this tobacco's counterparts. With a higher yield of Burley and Virginia, you get more crisp flavours than dark stewed fruit and the conclusion is more creamy and savoury than you might have first expected. A highly rated, highly recommended fairly easy smoke with great character.
