The Olmec Claro Toro cigar is rolled at the Tabacalera A.J. FernƔndez Cigars de Nicaragua factory in Esteli. It begins with a spicy San Andre wrapper that has undergone a slow fermentation to preserve the natural oils. Nicaraguan bale-aged binder and filler complete the line-up.
Nick Melillo has done it again. The initial light reveals notes of coffee, earth, and black pepper, as well as lots of creamy smoke. Medium-strength and full-bodied, this Olmec will appeal to many Nicaraguan Aficionados. It's a well-constructed, solid cigar.
