Coming to prominence around 1865 the brand became popular in the U.K. and the factory was one of the biggest in Cuba. Today the brand is still highly regarded for its distinctive taste and aroma. 

The rich history of Hoyo de Monterrey cigars is reflected in this exceptional double corona. 

The plantation lies close to the banks of the San Juan y Martinez river in the Vuelto Abajo zone and the leaves are carefully harvested and selected for this size. 

A little stronger than the the brands main range the Double Corona is still light and aromatic. 

With a smoking time of 90 minutes plus there's no need to rush, enjoy the various phases and how the cigar changes. 

Experience notes of wood, white pepper and vanilla. Coffee comes to mind and a little cedar but the blending skills just make evey aroma mix and mingle superbly.
