Peterson of Dublin Sherlock Holmes Dark Series Briar Smoking Pipe - Deerstalker Smooth
In 1987 Peterson produced the first in a series of pipes honouring Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective Sherlock Holmes. It is fair to say they have probably been one of their most successful series ever.
This premium range mirrors the original shapes now in a dark walnut finish, highlighted by a wide sterling silver band astride a black "P" lip mouthpiece.
Each pipe has its own unique appeal both to the eye and the hand.
The Sherlock Holmes Dark Series Deerstalker briar pipe has a lovely large bowl that offers at least an hour of contemplation, the nice thick walls will ensure a cool smoke.
This classic Rhodesian shape is beautifully proportioned for it's size and will appeal to collectors worldwide. Please note there is no filter.
The sterling silver band is just enough eye candy and nicely stamped with two identifying logos either side, the black stem finishes the pipe nicely.
