Peterson of Dublin Sherlock Holmes Briar Smoking Pipe - Terracotta Hansom

In 1987 Peterson produced the first in a series of pipes honouring Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective Sherlock Holmes. It is fair to say they have probably been one of their most successful series ever.

This pipe has an extra large bowl, with a bent, tall bulldog shape. The squared shank expresses long lines with a sterling silver, hallmarked band, then flows onto the squared stem that tapers and rounds off with a Peterson Lip. The Sherlock Holmes Hansom is produced from high grade Mediterranean Briar, stained walnut and polished, showing off the grain.
