Quai D'Orsay No 50 Cuban Gift Box - 2 Cigars

This brand first appeared in 1974 and was aimed primarily at the French market following an en enquiry by the then French Minister of Finance Valéry Giscard d’Estaing to Seita the organisation importing Cuban cigars into France. 

They in turn made enquiries in Cuba and voilà a new brand was born. It's named after the wharf along side the Seine where Seita was headquartered.

 The brand remained relatively unknown outside of France until it was relaunched in 2017 at the Habanos Festival in Havana, Cuba. 

Two new sizes were added, the band was re-designed and it was announced a new Edicion Regional was planned, the Secreto. 

Today the brand is more widely known following the release of more Regional Editions. The No 50 is 4 3/8" long with a ring gauge of 50,  and definitely part of the brand portfolio.

This recent release of a twin gift pack shows the commitment by Habanos S.A. to giving this brand the exposure it deserves.

Handmade with long filler leaves and classified as Light flavoured you can expect a smoking time between 35 and 45 minutes depending on your style.
