Savinelli Lollo Rusticated Brown (Marrone) 01 - 6mm Briar Pipe

A lovely little nose warmer from Savinelli that first appeared in the 60s and is now offered for sale again. Small, compact, and just right to slip into a jacket pocket with a bowl big enough to allow a 30-minute smoke.

The rusticated finish has been beautifully worked and the pipe given a brown stain, a narrow brass band separates the stem from the shank with a short saddle mouthpiece.

The nice broad shank makes this a "sitter" and also makes it easier to hold.

Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the first shops in the world selling exclusively smoking accessories and briar pipes in 1876. It wasn't until 1920 the first Savinelli briar pipes were branded and produced in the Varese province.
