Gawith Hoggarth Bosun Cut Plug Pipe Tobacco - 25g Loose

Gawith Hoggarth's Coniston Cut Plug is another 'Lakeland' tobacco that comes with the familiar and comforting aroma of floral spice. With over 50% flue-cured Virginias from Brazil, Zimbabwe and Malawi, and 31% dark fired leaf and the addition of some sweeter sun cured leaf from Malawi, this is a fairly strong smoke.

Just like a flake or broken flake, rubbing out is an enjoyable experience as the texture is slightly firm but soft enough to be workable. The aroma that is given off at this stage is wonderful, clean and inviting. Upon lighting, you're welcomed by smooth, flavourful smoke. You can taste the dark fired leaf and the flue cured Virginias with top notes of oil of cloves and rose geranium.
